Welcome to the Highlands Subdivision, Valdosta, Georgia! Established in 2004, the Highlands is conveniently located and neighborhood friendly. The only access into the neighborhood is via Huntley Drive, so you will find no one driving through to get to another location. It is just a few short minutes to Moody Air Force Base to the north, and Valdosta State University to the south. Along the way, you will find South Georgia Medical Center, Smith Northview Hospital, many grocery stores, restaurants, banks, and stores for all your cares and wants.
Public education is provided by the Valdosta City School system. Valdosta has a number of excellent private schools as well. The neighborhood was designed to be neighborhood friendly. You will find sidewalks and round-abouts, to create an atmosphere for outdoor walking, talking, and playing, with drivers using slower speeds to travel around the round-abouts and the gracefully curving streets themselves. Hardwood and pine trees, and the personal landscaping of its residents give the Highlands a verdant green canvas in the spring and summer months.
Above, you will find a personal tour of the neighborhood itself, along with photographs of the houses that are for sale through this website. Each house has its own website, linked to the left, featuring an abundance of photographs that can enlarge to fill your computer screen, as well as a walking, talking video tour of the house itself, which can also enlarge to fill your computer screen. Each website also contains a written narrative and specific listing details, such as room measurements and materials used in construction.
The purpose of this website and its linked houses for sale is to provide you with enough information, via photography, video, information, and links to supplementary information, to be able to make a decision, if need be, to purchase a house before you set foot in Valdosta, or Georgia, or the United States. Please do not hesitate to call or email me with any further questions or concerns you may have, that haven’t been answered here. If a house is listed on this website, the owners have agreed to list the house at current fair market value, with full access to as much information as can be shared.
The Highlands is a great neighborhood to be in, to live in, to enjoy. I wish you the best as you search for a new house to call home. Please feel free to call or email me with any question or concern –
